This weeks editor of the “Dobra vibra” column is Natalia. She has chosen an article about lab-grown meat product.
The meat industry is one of the most polluting for the environment since 1/5 of the greenhouse emissions come from it. Meat production also consumes large amounts of water. In the past years more people have become conscious about it and more people are being more cautious about the amount of meat they consume.
The fact that they approved lab grown meat means that people could potentially have access to cruelty free meat that pollutes less in the near future is very good news. Furthermore, I think it is a great scientific advance for the food industry since it could potentially ensure food security for all human beings in the future.
